More about our property loans

"…with the knowledge that MCA would be able to offer the Church Council a loan, it was agreed to proceed with the building work…to provide facilities which were fit for purpose and of high quality…and the Archbishop of York John Sentamu dedicated the building."
Emmanuel Church Trustees, Saltburn

We provide loans to churches and associated organisations at the lowest practicable rate of interest. Our loans are primarily intended to enable churches to acquire, develop or repair church buildings for the benefit and inspiration of the church and community.

We seek to operate to the highest standards of ethical behaviour in all that we do.

If your Christian church needs funding to improve its buildings or facilities then we can help

At MCA we provide the right kind of loan facility to enable a project to begin quicker, often giving the benefits of cost savings as well as maintaining the initial momentum and enthusiasm of the congregation or trustees.

With over 125 years’ experience our funding is specifically for Christian churches and associated organisations. Our loans are generally from £25,000 up to £750,000 (see note below) and we offer flexible tailored finance for each situation.

We provide term loans for building projects and bridging loans for manse purchases. We also provide loan financing to a wide variety of projects from the installation of solar panels to new build projects and extensions.

Note: The maximum available amount loan will be assessed against various factors including the size and nature of the project, the denomination of the borrower (if applicable), the security available and the loan term. Please contact us for further information.
